Non-competition oriented TaeKwonDo
school: This school was founded by Master Young Yu, trained in Korea. The
lineage is Mu Duk Kwon, a hard style that spawned Tang Soo Do in America. Rarely
do Tae Kwon Do schools claim Mu Duk Kwon as their lineage. The school is small,
but there is its advantage in that it is very student focused - if you have a
specific goal in mind for your training, they will help you meet your goal. If
you have no specific goal, you will receive well rounded training for fitness,
self defense, fighting, weapons training, and philosophy.

Young Yu Really is great taekwondo!: The
instructors at the school are top-notch, and I really like the philosophy they
use to teach martial arts. Respect, courtesy, and helpfulness are the traits
that the school seeks to instill in its students, and there is a wonderful
atmosphere of camaraderie and support. The sparring that takes place is always
good-natured and this is not a place that teaches or condones bullying in any
form. The children's program is also excellent and the children are guided in a
gentle manner that seeks to help them develop focus and have fun.
Love To Train: The family atmosphere at
Young Yu Tae Kwon Do is wonderful. It is a place where adults and children can
experience the martial arts at their best. The school is owned by ninth degree
black belt Grand Master Young T. Yu. The caliber of his martial knowledge is far
above anyone I have ever met. If you want to train with the best, this is
it.
